This International Women’s Day, join Women United and Burns & McDonnell for a unique Impact Bus Tour, celebrating the incredible women and organizations driving change in our community.



Experience how United Way's Impact 100 partners are empowering women through health, safety, and overall well-being, while tackling challenges that strengthen families, youth, and communities.



On Friday, March 6, 2026, we’ll visit three inspiring organizations making a real difference for women every day: Amethyst Place- whose mission is to inspire transformational healing and empower generations of women and children to achieve recovery, reunification, and resilience; KC Care Health Center who is committed to to promoting health and wellness by providing quality care, access, research, and education to the underserved and all people in our community; and Phoenix Family, who empowers people living in low-income housing communities with the on-site support they need to gain stability and achieve self-sufficiency.



This immersive experience is your opportunity to connect with changemakers, hear their stories, and see the impact firsthand.



The Impact Bus Tour will depart from the United Way of Greater Kansas City office at 9:00 AM:

4801 Main Street, Suite 425, Kansas City, MO.



*Parking: There is parking available in the library garage. Once you’ve parked, please enter the building and take the elevator to the 4th floor, where we’ll welcome you with coffee and light refreshments to start the morning.



The bus will return to our office around noon, leaving you inspired and energized from a morning of learning, connection, and celebration of women making a difference in our community.



Agenda:

8:30 AM | Welcome with coffee and light refreshments

9:00 AM | Depart by bus to visit partner agencies

12:00 PM | Return to UWGKC office; tour concludes
