Join us on February 5th for Women United Social Hour presented by Burns & McDonnell as we gear up for our largest fundraising event, Purses for Promise presented by Black & Veatch. Sip, connect and learn more about our community partner, Growing Futures Early Childhood Center, Women United, and United Way's work in our community. This gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Women United members while supporting a meaningful cause.
This event is free to attend—and it’s also a Giveback Event! You’ll receive two glasses of wine or non-alcoholic beverages on us by donating one or more of the following:

Growing Futures Early Education Center
A Head Start for children and families, provides quality early education opportunities and family support services for children in Johnson County, Kansas. Early Head Start and Head Start programs are for children 0-5 and their families. Enrolled families also have access to a variety of comprehensive support services including health and nutrition services, onsite play therapy, parent education, mental health services, medical and dental care, family support and engagement opportunities. Educational programming focuses on developing a child’s academic readiness, along with an emphasis on social and emotional development.
