As United Way of Greater Kansas City's largest annual fundraising event, Purses for Promise is the perfect excuse to bid on a new bag or experience - while supporting Kansas City's littlest learners.

Purses for Promise benefits United Way and Growing Futures Early Education Center's work to advance early childhood education and development throughout Kansas City.

Growing Futures Early Education Center

A Head Start center for children and families, Growing Futures provides quality early education opportunities and family support services in Johnson County, Kansas. Early Head Start and Head Start programs are for children 0-5 and their families. Enrolled families also have access to a variety of comprehensive support services, including health and nutrition services, onsite play therapy, parent education, mental health services, medical and dental care, family support, and engagement opportunities. Educational programming focuses on developing a child’s academic readiness and emphasizes on social and emotional development. Check out their annual report for more information.
